We are a church whose foundation is Jesus Christ and whose authority is the Bible. Every weekend we’re opening the Bible together and learning from its pages in ways that speak right into our lives. Our passion is to glorify God by making and multiplying disciples. In our services, our ministries, our music– in everything we do at BRAVE, our focus is to bring God glory through His Son Jesus Christ.
The path of authentic discipleship is a lifetime of following Jesus Christ more consistently and closely. Growing disciples go through a continual process called sanctification, which simply means becoming more and more like our Lord.
When we become intentional about seeking to honor God we can’t help but become “mature in Christ” (Colossians 1:28), growing deeper in our relationship with God and our relationships with others. Disciple-making is to be worked out together in ministry to one another. It’s not about one or a small number of pastors bearing the total responsibility to care for the entire congregation. Rather it’s about all disciples using their God-given spiritual gifts to provide mutual ministry to build each other up, all in the context of a vibrant and strong local church (Ephesians 4:11-12).
Our primary means to develop our gifts, and to minister to one another is through BRAVE Groups. Everyone who calls BRAVE their church home is strongly encouraged to take part in a BRAVE Group where the Scriptures are opened, lives are shared and prayer is upheld. BRAVE Groups also take place within our Student and Children’s Ministries. Many types of BRAVE Groups are available throughout the area and new groups are continually forming. Some among us will be called to full time ministry. For those who sense a unique call to plant a church, BRAVE Global offers a Church Planting Residency where leaders are trained up and equipped to plant churches worldwide. For those desiring a practical theological education, BRAVE Seminary offers a full accredited Master’s program and is located at our Englewood Campus.
Pastor Jeff began ministry as a youth pastor. He is a man of prayer who is passionate about boldly proclaiming the truth of God’s Word. Pastor Jeff is the founding Pastor of BRAVE Church and, since 2010, God has been drawing people to himself through the ministry of BRAVE Church as well as through BRAVE – Pastor Jeff’s radio ministry. Pastor Jeff has a master’s degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and a doctorate from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He has a gift for communicating the Bible with strength and clarity.
Pastor Jeff loves to spend time with his family. He and Kimberly have 3 Children – Brooke, TJ, and Elle.
From weekly devotionals to inspirational video clips, Pastor Jeff shares through the written word what God has laid on his heart. Pastor Jeff also shares the gospel with thousands of people every day through his radio programs.
BRAVE Global is singularly focused on planting BRAVE churches in North America and around the world. We are training up leaders through our Residency and Seminary who are equipped to plant churches worldwide and we are are deeply persuaded that Jesus is building His church. We are excited to partner with Him in this supernatural work and are committed to going where He opens doors for us. As we seek Him earnestly in prayer, we have faith to believe He will reveal to us where He is working and the best way to join Him in His work.
