What is BRAVE Kids?
Every Sunday at both locations: 9:00am + 11:00am
& Saturday at Englewood: 5:00pm
Every weekend, babies through fifth-grade kids experience safe, age-appropriate environments where our kids are guided in a chronological journey through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, to encounter Jesus and learn the essential doctrines of the Christian faith. The goal is not for kids to know more about God, but rather for them to know Him more.
We would love for you and your family to visit BRAVE Kids this weekend. Join the fun, and experience a world where kids meet Jesus on their level!

Connecting kids to the word of God
through the story of God
From the moment you pull in the parking lot, there will be lots of friendly faces eager to show you the way and check in your kids.
Your first stop when you arrive is the first-time check in area. We want to serve you and your child well, so we’ll take some time to get to know you. We’ll ask about allergies, make sure we know what your child likes to be called, and collect your contact information.
Then, you and your child will both get a sticker with a matching code. If for any reason we need to reach you during the service, you’ll see your kid’s code in the lower corner of the screen. This sticker is also what you’ll use to pick-up your child after the service.
Play clothes are always welcome! BRAVE Kids is a fun, active environment. Your kids will be playing, singing, and dancing as they learn about Jesus in small groups and large groups.
We are going through the Gospel Project, which is a chronological 3 year journey through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, to encounter Jesus and learn the essential doctrines of the Christian faith.
Our BRAVE Kids are monitored by our safety team and kids are not allowed to leave the classroom without a matching sticker.
If for any reason we need to reach you during the service, you’ll see your kid’s code in the lower corner of the screen. This sticker is also what you’ll use to pick-up your child after the service.
Our BRAVE Kids team members go through multiple training sessions, background checks and are disciple making members of BRAVE Church.

Team Members Screening and Training
All adult and youth BRAVE Kids team members are carefully selected and trained by church staff to maintain the highest integrity of our program. In addition, all adult team members are background checked both nationally and locally. We also have a no 1-on-1 policy. This means that at no time should a team member or staff be left alone with a child.
Drop Off / Pick Up
Classrooms open 20 minutes prior to service times. Pick-up will begin immediately after the worship service ends. At check-in, your kid will be assigned a randomized code printed on their name tag and your claim ticket. Present the claim ticket when you pick up your kid from their classroom. Kids will not be released if the code does not match.
In addition to our highly trained and loving safety team, we have an additional safety team roaming our BRAVE kids ministry to maintain a fun yet safe environment for all kids.
What We Value
Disciple team members to a standard of excellence in personal ministry with passion.
Clearly study and interpret the passage of Scripture comparing Scripture to Scripture.
We will pursue simplicity over complexity and excellence over extravagance.
Communicate the truth of who God is and His character.
Use compelling methods of story-telling to tell the one Big Story.
Teaching kids the foundational doctrines of the Christian faith. (ie: What is worship? Who is God? What is the Bible? What is the church?)

Sign up now for the next Parent Commissioning on September 5-6, 2020.
We believe God has called parents to be the primary disciple-makers in their home.
Parent Commissioning at BRAVE Church, formerly called child dedication, is the first step in partnering with parents to raise up or commission their children to follow after Christ. The goal of Parent Commissioning is to begin a partnership between the local church and the home.
